This is a personal interest blog that I created in 2014 focusing on the development of Sydney into the city that it is today.
I try and explain how Sydney has become the city that it is. I look at how some of the city's buildings and landmarks have evolved into what they are and urban schemes that never got off the ground. I also look at key developments in the life of our city and how that has landed us to where we are today.
There is some nostalgia relating to how we have lived our lives and even some of the key events that have impacted on the city itself.
I hope to share some of my older photos as well to try and trigger my memories (generally photos that are more than ten years old).
