For the first time in 2015, I'll be available for private tutoring as an academic skills tutor to secondary school students and undergraduate university students in southern Sydney and the Sydney CBD on Weeknights (excluding Fridays) and Saturdays.
The advantage of providing these services, will be that a student be able to develop skills that are crucial to academic success, particularly locating, selecting and communicating information and can be applied to all aspects of learning.
Services that I'll be able to provide include:
- Academic Writing Skills
- Time Management Skills
- Oral Presentation skills e.g. public speaking.
- Referencing, Biblographies & Copyright
- General Research Skills (including Library Research Skills)
- Exam Preparation Skills
- Assistance with preparing CV's and job applications.
Sessions will be charged at $50 per hour.
